- The streak continues- 11 races with 11 different winners. Zeb Wise is the latest to add his name to the list with his first career win at Attica Raceway Park.
- There were some opportunities for other first time winners Saturday, but mother nature ended up cutting the night short at Wayne County and Fremont. The 410’s will run their make-up feature at Fremont May 15.
- Jamie Miller is certainly on a hot streak right now. He held off Dustin Stroup for his third straight 305 win, going back to last weekend at Attica and Waynesfield.
- After breaking a rear end in his heat race Friday, Trey Jacobs and team had to thrash just to make it to the BMain. Jacobs would win the BMain, and proceed to go from 16th to 2nd in the Feature. Paging Justin Fiedler…
- The Great Lakes Sprint Series 360’s attempted to make their debut at Wayne County Saturday before being rained out. A solid 22 car field was in the pits though, with multiple drivers slated to do double duty with the 410’s.
- Several drivers attempted to make it to Fremont after the Wayne County rain out. Zane DeVault and Daniel Burkhart made it in time to make the feature… right before the rains came at Fremont. They got rained out twice in one night. Rough.
- Coming into Friday, Cole Macedo held a one point advantage in the Attica points, now the tables have turned due to Jacobs incredible run Friday. Jacobs now holds a three point lead over Macedo through six races.
- Six races in six weekends is quite incredible at Attica. Hopefully mother nature continues to let us have some fun.
- The AFCS Series kicks off next weekend with a doubleheader weekend at Attica and Fremont. The 410’s boast a $29,000 points fund and $10,500 points fund for the 305’s. As always, there’s a good chance those numbers have already gone up.
- I’m glad to see my fears about Bristol were wrong. That doesn’t mean we should be racing there, though.
