  • The World of Outlaws and USAC Sprint Cars made their way into Ohio for the first time in 2021 for the #LetsRaceTwo weekend at Eldora, which had fans for the first time since 2019.
  • Tyler Courtney is really good at Eldora in the Nonwing car, if you didn’t know. He won his fifth straight race at Eldora in Friday’s portion, and came home second to Robert Ballou in Saturday’s portion.
  • Brent Marks is off to a great start since getting back into his own #19 car, winning Friday’s portion for the world of Outlaws, driving by Sheldon Haudenschild.
  • Sheldon got the job done in round two, denying Donny Schatz of his 300th win with a late-race pass to nab his first career Eldora win.
  • Sheldon originally finished second in race one, but came across the scales light, resulting in a DQ.
  • Robert Ballou didn’t mince words when he was interviewed. He called out the Outlaws for track conditions Saturday afternoon and took to social media Friday night to express his displeasure. This wasn’t his first rodeo, though.
  • Muskingum County Speedway hosted the OVSCA Saturday night as well, with Kory Crabtree taking the win over Jake Hesson and Todd Kane.
  • It was a rough night for Tyler Street and Trey Jacobs at Muskingum, as they both got collected in multiple incidents throughout the night.
  • Although Jac Haudenschild’s original Pennzoil scheme was before my time, it was cool to see him bag the right rear off the wall at Eldora in a Pennzoil car.
  • Eldora’s Cheeseballs still rule.
