- There were a plethora of winners over the weekend; Stuart Brubaker (Attica) and George Hobaugh (Sharon) added their names to the winners list, while Cole Duncan (Atomic) and Cole Macedo (Fremont makeup) claimed their second wins of the year, and DJ Foos (Fremont) and Broc Martin (Wayne County) picked up their third wins of the year.
- Trey Jacobs looked poised to add his name to the list in the feature at Fremont, but DJ Foos slid him with two laps left to steal the win. Jacobs would end up third.
- Drama filled the final corner of the USAC Speed2 Midget race at Limaland. Jacob Denney had the race won until two lapped cars tangled, leaving him nowhere to go. Stratton Briggs inherited the lead and won the race.
- It was a great weekend for Cole Macedo and Ray Brooks Racing. They finished fifth at Attica Friday, and left Fremont with a win and a fifth. That should add to his Ohio Dirt Track Stats 410 standings lead.
- Paul Weaver claimed his 60th 305 win at Attica, while Dustin Stroup won the 305 feature at Fremont.
- Zeth Sabo took the reins of Rich Farmer’s 410 this weekend. He made the feature at Attica, but a faulty oil pressure gauge forced the team into a DNS, and he finished 19th in the Fremont feature.
- Kudos to Wayne County for getting their 410 Feature done by 8:20 Saturday night. That makes life a lot easier for fans and teams who are travelling.
- It looks like Attica got their extra seating built just in time for the World of Outlaws visit this Friday for the Kistler Engines Classic.
- Speaking of the Outlaws, they’ll also be visiting Sharon Speedway for the first time since 2016. It will be fun to watch the Outlaws and Ohio/Western PA’s best race on Ohio’s best surface.
- While it may not be surprising that Cole Duncan won at Atomic, what is surprising is the fact that Brian Smith could be found running the top at Fremont.
